AC Training is pleased to announce that the ILM have approved the delivery of the new Level 6 Leadership and Management and Level 7 Strategic Leadership and Management qualifications.
AC Training is pleased to announce that the first cohort of coaching apprentices will start their learning on the afternoon of the 25th March 2024.
Not surprisingly, there has been a lot of interest in this apprenticeship and sign up for the programme has started.

Landmark Moments.
2009
AC Training as established at a kitchen table in Shropshire, UK as Always Consult Ltd. The focus was on support to small businesses.
2010
Along came Adrian Pitt and Sheila Henshall – the first two associates, who formed the nucleus of the company with Carol Ewels. Together they forged ahead with careers advice and guidance and supporting small businesses.
2011
We were established as an ILM Centre.
2014
The company took up residence in Upton Magna Business Park, just outside Shrewsbury. We were established as an OCR Centre.
2017
In March we were successfully admitted to the Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP), our apprenticeship division was set up in September and we welcomed our first junior doctor apprentices from South Tees NHS Trust in December.
2018
We were working hard on the European Social Fund (ESF) project and our first Level 5 L&M Apprentices enrolled.
2019
Our first Level 6 Careers apprentices enrolled, we had our first visit (inspection….!) from Ofsted and we became a BIIAB Centre.
2020
Quite a lot to say about this year! It started slow then got a lot faster! We took on 4 new members of staff, outgrew our office and moved across the business park to bigger premises and despite some pretty challenging conditions we carried on growing. And we became an NCFE centre.
2021
The growth continued and we had more than 500 apprentices on our books, 300 commercial qualifications and 30 staff.
2023
After 14 years at the helm our founder and Managing Director, Carol Ewels, retired and sold the business to Roddy Christie and Dr Bill Kawai-Calderhead. Roddy took over as MD in May.
2024
5th February 2024 – we rebranded to being AC Training.
We have great plans! We are expanding our apprenticeship offer with the L5 Coaching apprenticeship coming online in March. We have loads of fantastic bespoke training and qualifications taking place too. If you are interested we would love to hear from you.
